Why Mission Aviation Fellowship?

Millions of people around the world live cut off from basic necessities like education for their children, medical care, disaster relief, and the message of the gospel. Our vision at MAF is to see isolated people changed by the love of Christ. 

Our work at headquarters in Nampa, Idaho, supports this vision through advanced flight training, aircraft mechanic training, missionary housing and family care, administration and fundraising, volunteer services, and more. 

Visiting headquarters

We would love to provide you with an in-person experience of the history and work of Mission Aviation Fellowship, both Stateside and internationally. Included in the tour is an up-close encounter with the airframe of the Piper PA-14 that Nate Saint flew, the history of MAF, including our first pilot, Betty Greene, as well as a visit to our hangars. 

You’ll learn: 

• Why MAF was founded by WWII pilots and how their vision is still being carried out today 
• How our work at headquarters supports mission partnerships worldwide 
• What types of aircraft we fly and the size of our fleet
• What makes MAF pilot/mechanics different from commercial pilots and why this is important
• How aviation makes missions possible in some of the most remote places on earth

How to book a tour 

Tours are completely free and easy to book. Simply fill out the form below!

Tour Availability

Mon-Fri 10a or 2p

We ask that you book your tour a minimum of two weeks in advance if possible. Every tour is given by one of our knowledgeable tour guides, many of whom have served overseas with MAF. Each tour takes approximately one hour. 

At this time, we do not offer after-hours or weekend tours.
